2018 Coding for OB/GYN

Sharpen your coding skills to ensure selection of the appropriate codes for optimum reimbursement, and coding compliance. The section will include discussion of codes and documentation needed to support their use. The need to “tell the whole story” with appropriately reporting risk factors through patient co-morbidities is an essential part of relating value with the appropriate level of care for the patient’s condition. Problematic areas and common “hot spots” will be covered. The program will also review existing as well as new specific guidelines for reporting OB care and gynecological treatment and services.

If there are applicable topics or questions that you wish to be addressed, please forward those at least a week prior to the session to make sure they are covered. Please bring your CPT 4 and ICD-10 coding manuals for class exercises.
