Overview: CMS has stepped up the number and types of audits plaguing medical practices over the past few years.  The OIG recommends groups that receive any Federal money to implement billing, coding, and documentation audits as part of their compliance program. This presentation discusses why these audits are important as well as how performing routine self-audits may help in staying in compliance.
