A deep dive into E&M Coding beyond just outpatient coding. Our focus this year has been on outpatient coding, but of course there is so much more. This  is an intensive review evaluation and management coding in all of its aspects that will also include the outpatient changes for this year. Please have your coding manuals prepared to participate in some exercises.

Participants will gain some understanding of coding procedure fundamentals and the

use of ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding manuals to report services performed in

practices along with the process for assigning the appropriate supporting diagnoses.

Build your coding knowledge or review the basics of assigning proper codes with expert

Karen Scott.

Please have a CPT-4, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM manual for class participation.
