UHC MA Referral Requirements: Portal Access and Training to Create Referrals Needed to Satisfy 2026 Requirements

Monica will discuss details regarding the exact UHC MA plans involved, show what to look for on the insurance card to know who needs a referral, how to register for a OneHealthcare ID and use the portal to create a referral or receive a referral.

Fran Parker will talk about identifying which of your staff will need access to create the referrals and those who will receive the referral.

This is pertinent not only for PCP offices who will create the referrals, but also for the specialist staff who will need the referral number for specialist claims payment.
