HIPAA/OSHA TRAINING and NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION: January 23

HIPAA/OSHA rules and Fraud/Waste/Abuse training are required by law for a compliant medical practice.

MetroCare is providing a monthly session in our classroom for new employees or those employees who need their annual training update in our MetroCare member practices. We deliver the training, test for competency and provide a certificate of completion.  We hope you will take advantage of this and find it useful on an ongoing basis.

• OSHA: Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace through sound work practices and adherence to OSHA standards
• HIPAA: Protecting patient privacy and practice confidentiality and compliance
• Medicare Compliance Basics: Medicare cards, ABN, fraud/waste/abuse

***** The morning session from 8:30-11:00 is HIPAA/OSHA Training for anyone from your practice who needs an update in addition to new employees********

This ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 training session reviews in detail the coding processes, rules, and regulations for pulmonary and cardiac diseases, conditions, and disorders as well as critical care E&M and procedures..

We will also review chapter specific terminology with anatomy of body systems and will include coding conventions, sequencing guidelines and rules.
