Participants will gain some understanding of coding procedure fundamentals and the use of ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding manuals to report services performed in practices along with the process for assigning the appropriate supporting diagnoses. Build your coding knowledge or review the basics of assigning proper codes with expert Karen Scott. Please bring your CPT-4, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM manuals for class participation.

More in-depth terminology will be discussed for a better comprehension of procedures, conditions, disorders, and diseases. This class is good for anyone who may need introduction to or review of more complex terms used in the practice of medicine and is a follow-up to last month’s basic level class.
