CODING CARDIOLOGY in 2022

This ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 training session reviews in detail the coding processes, rules, and regulations for cardiac diseases, conditions, and disorders E&M and procedures.. 

We will also review chapter specific terminology with anatomy of body systems and will include coding conventions, sequencing guidelines and rules.

Coding exercises are an important section of the class and will assist in reinforcing the material covered.   Please bring your ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 manuals to class for participation in the exercises.

Bankruptcy Basics

Overview: When a patient files bankruptcy, the medical practice must take the proper steps to correctly manage the patient’s account. This presentation focuses on the basics of bankruptcy and reviews the processes and requirements of the medical practice.

Objectives:

  • Discuss pertinent bankruptcy facts and terminology
  • Examine the rights and responsibilities for the two types of bankruptcy observed most often in healthcare
  • Evaluate options for the physician-patient relationship – to terminate or not
