Use of this modifier is being heavily audited, and payers are beginning to require providers to submit documentation much more frequently than in the past. We will also review proper documentation for E/M.Objectives include: • Assisting with the implementation of your own internal audit program • Providing exercises for hands on auditing experience • Guiding you with effective feedback to your physician and staff Be sure to bring your current CPT-4 and ICD-10 CM manuals with you as well as a highlighter and sticky notes.
