WEBINAR: Documenting for Evaluation & Management Coding: Changes for 2021
July 22 PM session for clinicians
Presented by: Karen Scott, MEd, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC, FAHIMA
This 1.5 hour session is specifically focused for those clinicians who will perform, document and possibly code their own outpatient encounters. ****No CEUs will be awarded for this session.
Attendance will be limited to promote audience interaction with Karen and with one another. Participant questions and comments are encouraged. Additional sessions will take place throughout the year as needed to accommodate demand.
Karen will review approved changes for outpatient E&M coding and documentation policies that will take place January 1, 2021.
Attention will be given to:
- Medical Decision Making detailed changes
- Major changes to time-based code selection
- Discussion regarding changes to workflow and templates
