This program is a requested repeat of our popular class.

All healthcare workers should be familiar with the language of medicine.  This class is great for those new to healthcare and is a wonderful review for others. It teaches ways to learn how to break words into their word parts to facilitate understanding of medical terminology. 

Practice exercises will aid with spelling and pronunciation of terms.  Join expert Karen Scott to update terminology skills to aid with your coding responsibilities and challenges.

Boot Camp Day 1 Part 2: Advanced Anatomy and Medical Terminology

Anatomy and medical terminology will be reviewed by using a process of breakingwords into their word parts to facilitate their understanding. More in-depth terminologywill be discussed for a better comprehension of procedures, conditions, disorders, anddiseases.This class is good for anyone who may need introduction to or review of more complexterms used in the practice of medicine and is a follow-up to last month’s basic levelclass.Practice exercises in this session will aid with spelling and pronunciation of terms.
