· Stressing the importance of specificity in documentation and codingwith identificationof co-morbidities that trigger HCCs

Coding The Musculoskeletal System 2026

This class will review the coding processes, rules, sequencing guidelines, and regulations relating to the musculoskeletal system.

• Coding external causes
• Coding treatment after a prior surgical loss

• Coding E/M and procedures on the same day
• Fractures: delayed healing, nonunion, malunion, sequela

Credentialing staff:
Meet in person for a brief presentation and discussion with our Credentialing Team,
Manager, Kelly Jordan and Credentialing Specialist, Teresa Stacks, along with Fran Parker, Provider Relations, who will give detailed information about the credentialing process, payer notification, and provider loading by the payers to give your practice pointers on the most efficient ways for you to onboard new providers as well as what to expect along the way.

One Hour on Modifier 25 in 2026      April 29

Appropriate use of a 25 modifier has been causing confusion and presenting coding compliance issues since its inception. Use of this modifier is being heavily audited and payers are beginning to require providers to submit documentation much more frequently than in the past.

Join us for a detailed discussion of proper use. This session is very appropriate for clinicians as well as for coders.

2026 Evaluation & Management Coding: 
Deep Dive with Updates May 1

With so many changes to E&M in the last few years, you can never get enough of reviewing all those rules. This class is a favorite- an intensive review of evaluation and management coding whether in hospital, observation or office.

Bring your difficult cases and be ready to interact, asking questions and discussing cases. Send cases in advance so that Karen can prepare to add them to the menu.

Please have your new CPT coding manuals accessible to participate in some exercises.
