MetroCare is again sponsoring Steve Adams, a certified coding and auditing professional with 30 years of experience in military, private, and government sectors of healthcare, to present two seminars in Memphis on March 25, 2020.

Steve has a special certification in HCC/MIPS training and in Risk Adjustment Coding.

A late afternoon coding seminar will be presented for billers and coders, and an evening program will be tailored for physicians and extenders around supporting documentation.

CEUs will be available for the afternoon session only.

This program will take place at the Fogelman Executive Conference Center on the University of Memphis campus 330 Innovation Drive, Memphis, TN 38152.

Coding for Urinary and Male Genital Systems

Revisit CPT coding with Karen Scott for the next topic in the series, the urinary and male genital system. Sharpen your coding skills to ensure selection of the appropriate codes for optimum reimbursement and coding compliance when reporting excisions, repairs and other procedures of the urinary system involving the male genital system. The section will include discussion of codes and documentation needed to support their use. Problematic areas and common errors will be covered.

Physician Coding and Revenue Boot Camp

Wednesday April 8th 9AM-4PM

An all-day event specifically for physicians to work with their biller/coder/admin

This is a repeat of a very successful program from last year

Changes in documentation and coding requirements occur with such frequency that it can be difficult to stay on top of things. Proper coding and documentation is key to obtaining and retaining revenue.

Bring your coder or biller so that you may review and learn together and discuss any documentation/coding/billing workflow issues in your practice.

This session will include such topics as:

  • E&M Documentation and Coding
  • HCC (diagnostic) Documentation and Coding
  • Transitional Care Management
  • Billing compliance issues
