2027 Boot Camp Day 1 Part 1: Overview of Basic Medical Terminology
Presented by: Karen Scott, MEd, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC, FAHIMA

All healthcare workers should be familiar with the language of medicine. This class is
great for those new to healthcare and is a wonderful review for others. It teaches ways
to learn how to break words into their word parts to facilitate understanding of medical
terminology.
Practice exercises will aid with spelling and pronunciation of terms. Join expert Karen
Scott to update terminology skills to aid with your coding responsibilities and
challenges.
